LOS ANGELES, CA, JANUARY 16 2012: After speaking with homeowners Naz Deravian and Drew Wicks, DOD host and designer Casey Noble takes notes, photos and measures their master bedroom, before remodeling it. The Wicks have lived in the house with daughters Luna, 5, and Soleil, 2, for one year and remodeled most of the rooms in a clean, modern and bright way, but not the master bedroom, which features laudry room-like built in cabinets, an impractical fireplace mantle, and outdated furniture. Casey and DOD team will remodel the master bedroom using the Wicks clean, modern style, with somef rustic Arabic touches in homage to Naz's Persian heritage, incorporate built-in book shelves (to replace the ungainly laudry room cabinets) for the books loving couple (the both belong to book clubs), and create a daybed in a nook.
